an open source firmware for the PS3 to make emulating it easier. Of course, they still need drivers for every PS3 component. And that is difficult to come across.

The Firmware/ROM/whatever is the most important part of the PS3. Sony's firmware cannot function properly on an emulated PS3 without illegal reverse engineering. To avoid this, people are already making their own free

xxx that statement seemed a bit brash, I tend to believe that if it was built at all it can be transformed.
