Nintendo DS emulation   by: MaxEm  December 7, 2007, 2:23 pm

nintendo_ds The Nintendo DS emulation scene is happening right now with respectable DS emulators available for Windows and Linux - sorry Mac peeps - support for OSX is currently off the radar.

The DeSmuME Nintendo DS emulator provides reasonable emulation for commercial and home-brewed ROMs. You can download it right from this site (pick your OS below and go).

Illegal DS ROMs can be found on eMule, Usenet, and BitTorrent. Be careful; ROM images remain under copyright and should not be used. Don't break the law yo - but look, if you own the ROM then you can safely procure it and not overly worry about hungry nintendo ds lawyers knocking on your door.

The Nintendo DS emulation scene is a work in progress with regular updates to existing binaries, new ROMS are constantly released, and there is an active homebrew ROM scene which is very cool.

The DS is a powerful little component. A P4 or higher is recommended for this wild emulator. MaxEm
