Nestopia NES emulator for Windows
October 31, 2008by Chris
Nestopia was written by Martin Freij and was initially released at Source Forge in 2003 and exists under the GPL. Nestopia has been very well received in the community and features some extremely high precision coding within its C architecture. Most games work flawlessly in this finely crafted and highly entertaining emulator.
Nestopia remains in development and new updates are routinely announced. A wide variety of languages are supported and myriad controller configurations are available. Users can play multiplayer games with friends over the Internet, using the Kaillera plug-in.
You can play Duck Hunt with the mouse. Cheers to Martin Freij for his outstanding effort.
Nestopia has been ported over to a variety of different Operating Systems, most notiby - Mac OSX and Linux.
