Mini Vmac Macintosh 68000 by Chris November 9, 2008 Mini Vmac is based on upon Richard F. Bannister’s Macintosh port of vMac to the Macintosh.
vMac was primarily created by Philip Cummins and was ported to Windows by Weston Pawlowski.
MiniVmac, a heavily modified version of vMac, was created by Paul C. Pratt and is available for several operating systems.
MiniVmac is most easily configurable on a Mac but it is possible to get the emulator up and running on a PC, provided you have some time and patience..
To function on a PC, the ROM file and the Mac OS is required. The ROM can be found in a zipped file here: www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bit/6458/vMac.html
and the OS files can be found here: www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html
look for "SSW_6.0.8-800k_Disk1of4.sea.bin".
Have fun!
