Win UAE was written by Bernd Schmidt for Unix flavored systems and has been ported over to several operating systems and machines including Windows XP and Mac.

MAX UAE is the Mac version of Win UAE.

The emulator requires the copyrighted Kickstart and OS images which can be purchased at www.amigaforever.com.

UAE is available under the GPL and features high quality emulation compatibility, joystick, mouse mapping, and state saving.
